! Lennart Aschenbrenner

f. 1943 in Perstorp. Lives in Nice, France.

Graphic artist and painter. Educated at Skånska Målarskolan in Malmö (60-61), Askou-Jensen in Copenhagen (1960) and the Art Academy in Stockholm (1962-68).


He has usually done the graphics together with the printmakers Ingvar Landberg in Stockholm (screen printing), Ole Larsen in Helsingborg (etchings) and Åke Lindström and Finn Nielsen (lithography)


He has had about sixty solo exhibitions at galleries and art galleries in Sweden and France as well as participated in a number of group exhibitions at, among other things, graphics biennales in Europe such as the graphics biennials in Ljubljana, Slovenia and in Baden-Baden, Germany.


He is represented at about ten art museums, including the National Museum and Moderna Museet in Stockholm, the art museums in Gothenburg, Eskilstuna and Ystad, the Art Museum of North Jutland in Aalborg and the Fondation Provence-Cote d'Azur in Marseille.
