Born in 1951 in Tehran.

Has a very versatile education from various academies and universities in France and Holland - has studied painting, sculpture, serigraphy, carborundum engraving, ceramics and sculpture in the years '74-'87.

He has done a long series of solo exhibitions in various European countries and participated in about 10 graphics biennials in Ljubljana and Krakow, among others. One of Chahab's first solo exhibitions took place at Pictor's "Lilla galleri" in Gothenburg in 1979. Chahab lives and works in southwest France.
