Jochen Kublik

b 1962 in Bottrop in Westphalia.


Draftsman and copper graphic designer. Education at Fachhochschule für Design in Münster. Study trips to Tuscany, Oslo and Lofoten. Graduated in 1990. From 1996 own copper printing workshop in Münster. Made graphic editions for Aldegrever-Gesellschaft and Kunstverein Beckum-Warendorf.

Since 1988, around 40 solo exhibitions and as many group exhibitions, mainly in Germany. Also participated in international graphics biennials. Three books have been published so far about his drawings and graphics - "Zwischen den Gezeiten" 1995 (Kunsthaus Lübeck), "Farbradirungen" 2000 (Rasch Verlag) with text by Lars G Fällman and "Gartenland" (2001).


Jochen Kublik is considered one of Germany's most skilled copper graphic artists.


Came with a separate exhibition of drawings and graphics at Galleri Pictor in November 2004. Co-exhibitor was the Danish ceramicist Helle Bovbjerg.
