Kersti Rågfelt Strandberg

Graphic artist and watercolorist. Has studied drawing, oil, watercolor and graphics for professional artists. Member of, among others, Södertälje Konstnärkrets, Grafik i Väst, Grafiska Sällskapet and Grafikens Hus.


Made public decorations for Telgebostäder, Södertälje, Stiftsgården in Skellefteå, Restaurant Pimpinella in Luleå and Länsförsäkringar's headquarters in Luleå.


She is represented by, among others, the State Council of Arts, the Swedish Riksdag, Strängnäs Museum, Grafikens Hus, Kaliningrad State Art Museum, Krakow SMTG Museum Collection, Museum of Duoro, Portugal and a large number of municipalities and county councils in Sweden.


She is a diligent exhibitor and has done about fifty solo exhibitions, participated in as many jury-judged salons and otherwise in about a hundred collective exhibitions.


Among the many solo exhibitions can be mentioned Art Promotion in Umeå 1983, Grafik i Väst, Gothenburg 1998, Grafiska Sällskapet, Stockholm 2004, Härnösands Konsthall 2006, Södertälje art association, G:a Rådhuset 1997, 2007 and Grafikens Hus 2012.


She has participated in various collective exhibitions outside of Sweden, such as Mini Print International in Spain and Korea, Odense Konsthall, Denmark, International Miniprint Triennial, Lahti Art Museum, Finland, 6th Int. Printmaking Biennal of Duoro in Portugal, Contemporary Art from Sweden, Yokohama in Japan, Northern European Print Art Exhibition, South Korea 2003, Palace of Culture in Minsk, Belarus 2003, International Biennal of Graphics of the Baltic Sea Countries, Kaliningrad 2005, The Line Gallery , Edinburgh 2007, Int. Watercolor Exhibition, Zaragoza in Spain 2008, Shetland Museum, Lerwick 2012, Int. Art in Scotland, SSA, Edinburgh 2013 and Asahimachi Museum, Niigata in Japan 2013.

She received the 2017 art scholarship in memory of Alfred Nobel, which is awarded by Stiftelsen Karlskoga Kommun's Art Scholarship.
