Osanne

Born in 1934 in Val de Marne.


Painter and graphic artist, educated 1947-53 at l'école des Arts Appliqués et Pratique, 1954-55 at l'Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Paris (painting and mosaic), lithography and engraving with Jacques Hallez in Marseille 1956-60 and l 'academie Goetz 1984 at l'atelier d'André Lhote in Paris (carborundum engraving).


Exhibitions 1959-61 in Aix-en-Provence and Marseille. From 1960-64, Osanne worked with theater decor at the Théâtre Quotidien de Marseille and the Center d'Art Dramatique in Aix-en-Provence.


In 1962 professor of drawing in Marseille, in 1966 Osanne worked with theater decor at the Avignon Festival and in 1966-67 as decor painter and creator at the Maison de la Culture in Caen.


Between the years 1968-1986 she designed theater costumes and sets for a number of theater productions and festivals and during the years 1977-81 she was hired as a fashion designer for Bruce Schiffmann in Beverly Hills, California.


Osanne has had a large number of solo and group exhibitions in Europe, including at Galleri Pictor in Gothenburg in 1989. But she has also had exhibitions in China and Japan. She has also participated in art fairs in Paris, Basel, London, Düsseldorf and New York.

Osanne is represented at, among others, the Musée Daubigny à Auvers-sur-Oise and Fondation Curie.
