Torsten Erasmie

Born 1940 in Strömsund, living in Vik's fishing village in Österlen.

Painter and graphic artist. Works mainly with landscapes from Österlen, Brittany and Italy.


Has done around 40 solo exhibitions starting in 1980

Gallery Repslagargården in Simrishamn. Since then there have been exhibitions at, among others, Malmö Museum, Kulturlagret in Skara, Galerie Galax and Galleri Aveny in Gothenburg, the Nordic Council of Ministers in Copenhagen, Galerie Saluden in Quimper in Brittany, Gallery 17 in Stockholm, Galleri Holm in Malmö, Gallery Moment in Ängelholm, J&W Gallery In New Hope, USA and Höganäs Museum.


More than 30 group exhibitions with participation at, among others, Skövde Konsthall, Höganäs Museum, Ystads Museum, Vikingsberg Art Museum in Helsingborg, Gösta Werner Museum in Simrishamn, Kunstscheune Barnstorf in Wüstrow and Schleswig-Holstein-Haus in Schwerin in Germany, Galerija Arka in Vilnius and Galerija Langas in Kaunas in Lithuania and the Swedish American Museum in Chicago.


Torsten Erasmie is represented at, among others, Malmö Museum and Höganäs Museum, the Riksdagshuset, various county councils and municipal art collections as well as Kunstsammlung des Landeskreises Nordvorpommern and Kulturhaus Hdv in Barth in Germany.
