"Slow Art" and Our exhibition

29 mars 2022

One of the pictures in the exhibition will be viewed extra extensively and carefully by a group of art students from Munka Folkhögskola on "Slow Art Day" Saturday, April 2. "Slow Art Day" is an international movement in the same spirit as Slow Food, Slow Reading and the like and which wants to make us slow down a bit and maybe discover a bit of the world anew. There are other aspects to the phenomenon as well - it is emphasized, among other things, that the "slow path" into the world of art has an educational value with the face of art directed directly at the common man. "Slow Art Day" is now in its fourteenth year and last year brought together 110 museums and galleries.
